Common Room and Hidden Brooklyn Room Speakeasy Open in Downtown Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, FL — Downtown Hollywood has added two new dining and nightlife concepts as BOL Hospitality Group expands its presence near Young Circle.

Common Room, a modern neighborhood American restaurant, opened at 2032 Harrison Street during the summer of 2026.

The restaurant focuses on elevated versions of familiar American dishes along with cocktails and a curated music program.

The menu includes items such as lobster rolls, pasta dishes, fried chicken, and other comfort-food-inspired selections.

BOL Hospitality Group operates several South Florida concepts, including Social Room in Hollywood as well as Bae Korean Grill and The BŌL at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

The company described Common Room as a neighborhood restaurant designed to attract both local residents and repeat visitors.

In August, the group followed the restaurant opening with another concept hidden inside the space.

The Brooklyn Room is an invitation-only speakeasy located behind a disguised bookshelf near Common Room.

The cocktail menu is inspired by neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn.

The addition brings another nightlife destination to Downtown Hollywood at a time when the city is working to attract additional restaurants, retailers, and entertainment concepts to the district.

Downtown Hollywood has experienced substantial residential development in recent years, particularly around Young Circle.

City officials have also launched initiatives aimed at attracting new businesses and improving downtown's retail and dining mix.

The opening of Common Room and The Brooklyn Room adds two distinctive concepts to the Harrison Street corridor and provides another dining and nightlife option for residents and visitors.
