Cipresso Closes at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood After Seven Years

HOLLYWOOD, FL — A long-running restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has closed as the resort prepares to introduce a new dining concept.

Cipresso, the resort's Italian restaurant, served its final guests on July 19, 2026, ending approximately seven years of operation at the property.

Seminole Hard Rock announced that a new signature restaurant from Major Food Group will eventually replace Cipresso.

Major Food Group is a hospitality company known for operating high-profile restaurant concepts in major cities around the world.

The new restaurant is part of an ongoing partnership between Major Food Group and Hard Rock International.

Details including the new restaurant's name, menu, design, and opening date had not yet been announced when the replacement was revealed.

Although Cipresso has closed, several of the restaurant's popular dishes have continued to be offered elsewhere at the resort.

Beginning July 27, Abiaka Wood Fire Grill began serving several former Cipresso favorites, including Nonna's Meatballs, Bolognese, and Bone-In Veal Chop Alla Parmigiana.

Abiaka also expanded operations to seven days per week.

The change represents another update to the large collection of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and attractions located at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

The property has continued to invest heavily in new dining and entertainment concepts since opening its iconic Guitar Hotel.

For local residents and visitors, Cipresso's closure marks the end of a familiar dining option while preparing the way for another high-profile restaurant.

More information about the replacement restaurant is expected as the project moves closer to opening.
